Jennifer Lopez cancels tour, Rosemont concert off: 'Completely heartsick'

Jennifer Lopez's "THIS IS ME...LIVE" US Summer 2024 Tour has been canceled, according to an email sent to On The JLo newsletter subscribers on Friday. The message, from Lopez's representatives and Live Nation, stated that Lopez is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.

Lopez expressed her regret to fans in a personal note: "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time..."

CNN confirmed the cancellation with a Live Nation representative. Lopez was scheduled to perform at Allstate Arena in Rosemont on July 26.

Ticketmaster announced that tickets purchased through their platform would be automatically refunded. For tickets bought through third-party resale sites like SeatGeek, StubHub, and VividSeats, fans are advised to contact their point of purchase for further details.

This announcement follows recent reports that Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, have been living apart. CNN has reached out to representatives for both stars for comment. The couple married in July 2022. Lopez's tour was set to begin on June 26 in Orlando.

ABC7 Chicago contributed to this report.
